These Terms of Service apply to all services supplied by Silv's Laundry & Cleaning, including laundry pickup and delivery, residential cleaning, Airbnb changeover cleaning, end-of-lease cleaning, and NDIS domestic assistance.
By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
Bookings may be made by phone, email, SMS, website form or other approved methods. A booking is not confirmed until accepted by Silv's. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings where necessary.
We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, a cancellation fee may apply. We understand emergencies occur and will always attempt to act reasonably.
Pricing will be advised before service delivery unless otherwise agreed. Invoices must be paid within the timeframe specified on the invoice.
Additional charges may apply where the scope of work changes, additional labour is requested, or significant additional cleaning requirements are identified. Any additional charges will be discussed where reasonably possible.
A surcharge of $15 per hour plus GST applies to Saturday bookings. Public holiday bookings are charged at double the listed rate. We do not operate on Sundays and no Sunday bookings are available.
Silv's provides professional laundry processing services, which may include washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
Certain items may not be suitable for commercial laundry processing, including delicate fabrics, specialty garments and items requiring specialist dry cleaning. Customers are responsible for notifying us of any special garment care requirements before service.
Where applicable, Silv's may process suitable linen, towels and similar items using procedures guided by principles contained within AS/NZS 4146. Not all garments or fabrics are suitable for thermal processing. Silv's reserves the right to determine the most appropriate processing method for each item.
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property. Where access cannot be obtained at the agreed time, a call-out fee may apply. Customers should advise us in advance of any hazards, access restrictions or special requirements.
We will perform services to a professional standard. However, bond return decisions remain the responsibility of landlords, property managers, owners corporations, tribunals and other third parties. No guarantee can be made regarding the outcome of bond claims or tenancy disputes.
If you believe there has been damage, loss, service quality concerns, or missing items, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion, with photos of the issue where applicable. This allows us to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter promptly.
For cleaning services specifically: if you're not completely satisfied, let us know within 48 hours with photos of the issue and we'll send someone back to re-clean the area at no charge. If you're still not satisfied, we'll refund that service in full.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the reasonable re-supply of services or reimbursement of the affected service fee. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential or special loss arising from use of our services.
Where services are provided to NDIS-funded participants, additional funding and invoicing requirements may apply. Participants and nominees remain responsible for ensuring services booked are consistent with their funding arrangements.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will apply from the date published.
